    Saturday May 9, 12:30 pm

Rabbi Michael’s monthly lunch-and-learn Shiur at around 12.30 pm in the Baron Harris Room.

These informal sessions are always interesting and entertaining, starting with a discussion loosely based on the weekly Parasha, which generally leads to amusing tales from Michael’s experiences as a Rabbi over many years.

    No prior knowledge is required.

Other Shabbat Services

Family Services

Saturday Family Services are now combined with Family Education.  To participate with your family, please contact Shelley Samuels:  religionschool@sps.uk.com

During the first part of the morning, families are given the opportunity to share their own knowledge of Judaism and Yiddishkeit, on a particular topic.  In the second part of the morning, after a break and refreshments, there is a short service, led by the families themselves.

Other family events include Friday afternoon Pizza and Prayer.

Facilities for the Disabled

Ground floor facilities in both the Sanctuary and the Hall are excellent, with induction loops to amplify sound for anyone wearing a hearing aid, and easy wheelchair access. Large print copies of the weekly and High Holy Day prayer books are available.

We also provide:

  • disabled parking spaces
  • special toilet facilities
  • a wheelchair on site

Guide dogs are welcome.
